Sundays

These bright faces are just back from church! When living at Sunrise of Life, the children have the freedom to choose what church (if at all) they want to attend. Many go to the Lutheran Church, some to the Pentecostal, and some to the Islamic Mosque. I had the privilege of joining for several services: although very different from home, the joy on their faces as they sang and their giving spirit (when they have so little) was so inspiring.  After church comes their favourite meal of the week: rice and chicken. Sunday afternoons are spent getting haircuts, relaxing, and playing soccer.  How did you spend YOUR Sunday?
