New Children

Hello All, 

During the past week Sunrise of Life has taken in 4 new children, all of who were living on the streets for some time in the village of Maji ya Chai. Following is the email Neema sent to Tom concerning the Children. 

Hello kaka!!

Yesterday I met with MYC Primary teacher she and told me about

these four kids and the fifth child one whom is the first born has run away as
she was playing part of parent after the childrens parents left them 

Becoming overloaded she run away to where these four dont know..

their not orphans their parents run

away and they heard that their mother has get married to another
man...they real suffer as they get their daily bread through begging
around mji mpya..in these 4 who came the older on is 12 yrs old and is
in standard five and the last born is 6yrs old and is just used to
round round in street when others went to school...kaka they real need
our help for sure and they make me unhappy sana (Lots)......mama has go 

with them to their ambassador to get the

truth about them.

The situation of the family will continue to be monitored while the children are living at the Centre. If it happens that their former home stabilizes Sunrise of Life will look into supporting these children in their homes. Until that time you can be assured that they are safe at Sol Centre!
