Hello,

This week there have been several boys who have become quite sick. On Saturday Morning Patrick, Regan, Habibu, and our security got very ill. Suspecting it was malaria we immediately gave them the one-time dose so to stop it from getting worse. This worked well for Patrick and a little for Regan but had no effect on Habibu and the Security. They continued to get worse. The next day Security was taken to the hospital and we got a replacement from KK. The day after that we noticed that Habibu was also getting worse so we called the KK (our security company) truck and they took him to the hospital. Habibu has been in the hospital ever since. He has lost allot of weight and tests showed he has both Typhoid and Malaria (the severe form of malaria). This is his third night in the hospital and there has been little improvement. If there is no improvement in the morning we will take him to a clinic with more technology in the morning so they can do more tests. We are really worried for Habibu and he needs your prayers. We will keep you updated on his condition. Thank-you to his sponsors (Charmaines Family) who have shown such great support for him!!!!

We sent Patrick and Regan to the hospital so they could get medication before their condition worsened. It turned out that Patrick had Typhoid, and it is suspected that Regan had Malaria. We have not heard from our security guard since he went to the hospital on Sunday.
