Mambo,

I hope everyone is well. Things have been going well here in Arusha. Last week we found a house for the older boys of CCF to live in. It is central to many good schools and in a very good location in Arusha. On Friday we hope to give it a good scrubbing and then on Saturday Laurent, Japhet, Joseph and Peter will move in. In a little while Didas and Aaron will join them!! They are very excited for this and are happy they will not be homeless. :)

We have been doing street outreach 1-2 times a week. Last time we met a boy who was 12 years old. He is from a region very far from Arusha. I asked him why he came to Arusha and he said he came because his friends said it was better in Arusha. Then I asked him what he liked better his home or Arusha and he said his home. We are still debating if we are going to take him back home as the bus fare back is very expensive. In addition one of us will have to go with him to ensure the does go home. We will most likely end up taking him home but we will keep you updated.

Tomorrow I am going to travel to Kilema a place in the Kilimonjaro region of Tanzania. There we are going to look at a potential school for Amena and Virginia. This is a boarding school and from what we hear it is a very good school. Hopefully everything goes well and we don't end up on any crazy buses or dalladalla's. The girls are very excited for the trip!!

Yesterday Rachel and Myself attempted to accompany Renette to the Nairobi Airport to see her off. When we got to the Kenyan boarder we were informed that we would need a full visa instead of a transit visa as we were hoping. A price difference of $30.00 USD. We didn't have that extra US money and the immigration would only accept US cash. Therefore we had to say bye to Renette at the Kenyan Border and cross back over into Tanzania. A typical TIA (This is Africa) moment.

Soon we will attempt to post some pictures. In order to do that we have to use the internet in town as our internet stick only allows us to do so much. We would like to remind everyone once again that Sol has charitable status and tax- receipts can now be given. Please pass on the news!!

Until next time!!

-Tom
